San Tomaso and Sasso Bianco
On the sunny slopes around San Tomaso Agordino, thanks to its secluded but prominent position in the valley, it still retains its authenticity and tradition. Climb up to the hamlet of Celàt and visit the lovely little 13th-century church, from here there are incomparable views of Monte Civetta. Then delight your palate with exquisite pizza, made from locally cultivated barley flour. Peer down to the ground from the heavens and get an adrenaline rush flying through the sky on the Dolomite's longest zipline. Experience adventure surrounded by silence and nature as you conquer the summit of the Sasso Bianco. Or try the more accessible Spiz de la Cros path, along which the miniature Dolomites lie, like an outdoor gallery of splendid stone sculptures.
